The Victorian semi-detached house was in urgent need of roof repairs, which would involve expensive scaffolding. Using this opportunity, the owner designed an improvement to an existing study on the second floor. The Proposed project was to add a new dormer window & a door, which would bring more natural light into the room. The door would give access onto a secluded terrace. The terrace had not to affect any of the existing spaces & give a sitting & dining area with view over the surrounding countryside.
